Experienced Investment Sales Associate

 

The position is for an Investment Sales Associate who will support the Investment Sales Group through prospect cold calling/new business development, market information gathering, financial analysis, coordinating direct marketing efforts for properties for sale, showing properties to prospective buyers, direct negotiations, buyer representation services and anything else the Senior Broker or Manager may direct.

Successful agents commonly earn six figure incomes with many exceeding $200,000. Top performers achieve high six figure annual incomes
 

Responsibilities

 

•     Prospect database development and management
•     Product inventory
•     Ability to create compelling and visually appealing marketing materials
•     Facilitate a wide range of legal documents, e.g. leases, contracts, partnership and/or operating agreements, mortgage documents, title reports etc.
•     Ability to interface with analytical, graphics and support staff
•     Ability to simultaneously work within a team framework with opportunity to source new business independently
•     Ability to perform on a consistently high level in a time sensitive environment.

Requirements

•     Florida real estate salesperson or broker license
•     Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or Accounting degree preferred
•     Strong foundation of investment/valuation concepts and software, including Excel, and preferably ARGUS and the ability to formulate creative financial structures
•     2-5 years of professional sales experience preferred; strong preference for past client base of companies who own commercial real estate
•     Strong time management skills
•     Must be able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
•     Understanding of and/or expertise in a variety of real estate related disciplines including but not limited to accounting, finance, zoning, leases, contracts, building operations and code compliance among others.
•     Extensive South Florida related experience in various product types, including office, multi-family, retail and hotel transactions, and familiarity with local market conditions, due diligence materials and regulatory issues specific to each property type.
•     Excellent oral and written communication skills
•     Strong, interpersonal and organizational skills
•     Extensive industry contacts and name recognition, especially among South Florida property owners.
•     Proven negotiating and closing skills

The successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized and able to handle multiple projects at any given time. Must be high energy, self disciplined, and able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, as well as communicate with co-workers and clients in a professional and courteous manner. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced and team based environment.
